Many fees required by foreign governments, universities, and international institutions are processed through payment systems that simply do not accept Ghanaian or West African bank cards and payment methods. The most common fee in this category is the SEVIS fee, a mandatory payment required of all F-1 and M-1 applicants before their consular interview at a US embassy or consulate. The fee must be paid through a US-based payment platform that does not support cards issued by Ghanaian or most West African banks. There is no workaround within the official system. SEVISMate receives the payment from the client in Ghana and processes it through the appropriate channel on their behalf, delivering the official confirmation and receipt that the client needs to proceed with their application.

The same barrier applies to other categories of internationally mandated fees where the prescribed payment method excludes African banking infrastructure. Where that gap exists and the fee is legitimate and verifiable, SEVISMate can process it. We do not facilitate payments speculatively or for unverifiable purposes. Every transaction is tied to a confirmed, documentable fee obligation.
