Who this covers
This policy applies to Graymont Group and its operating companies, and to this website. It extends to any company that joins the group.
What we collect
When you write to us, apply for a role or send the contact form, we keep what you send us so that we can reply.
When you become a client or partner of one of our companies, we hold the records needed to provide the service.
We also keep internal records of how this website is used, including technical signals about the device and network you connect from.
Why we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, to provide our services, to operate our website and systems safely, to prevent abuse, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
The law we work under
We handle personal information under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Where the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on your consent, on the steps needed to enter or carry out a contract with you, on our legal obligations, or on our legitimate interest in running our businesses safely.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with group companies and service providers who need it to deliver a service to you or to us, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Where information is handled outside Ghana, we apply the same standard of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.
You can also raise a concern with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
