Overview
Graymont Energy designs, installs and maintains solar power systems for commercial and industrial clients, including factories, warehouses, offices, hotels and schools. Its systems give clients a more reliable power supply and lower energy costs.
Load shedding, rising tariffs and the cost of diesel generation have strengthened the case for solar. A system with battery storage or a hybrid grid connection can supply a facility through its main operating hours, and a well-designed commercial installation typically recovers its cost in around five years.
Each project begins with an energy audit. Consumption is measured by hour and by season, and the system is sized to the site's actual demand. Every installation is commissioned against a formal checklist before handover.
Clients may purchase a system outright, lease it, or enter a Power Purchase Agreement and pay only for the energy consumed. A PPA allows a business to adopt solar with little or no capital outlay.
After commissioning, systems are monitored remotely and maintained on a fixed schedule by the company's own engineers, who are based in Ghana.
